Organisation 1962:
The 676th Missile Regiment was
transferred to the Baikonur Test Center in 1962.
In 3.64 all battalions were upgraded to regiments.
Organisation 1965:
In 1965 the 687th Missile Regiment was
transferred to Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the
60th Missile Division.
In 1968 the first RT-2 silos were constructed, with 2 new
missile regiments formed.
Organisation 1972:
The R-16 missile was withdrawn in 1977.
Organisation 1982:
1.11.83 the 839th Missile Regiment was
activated for the RT-2PM (SS-25) missile, but in 1985 transferred to Teykovo,
Ivanovo Oblast (54th Guards Missile Division).
The RT-2P (SS-13) was withdrawn 1989-1993, and the regiment
received the new RT-2PM (SS-25) missile.
Organisation 2000:
The
702nd Missile Regiment was disbanded in 2003.
