Activated 3.64 in Yoshkar-Ola, Mariyskaya ASSR, under the 14th Missile Division.

The regiment controlled the BSP-2 site with 2 R-16 pads (alert duty from 15.9.62).

In 1968 the BSP-2 sites were transferred to the 690th Missile Regiment.

The regiment went on alert duty 6.4.71 with 10 RT-2 (SS-13) silos in area BRK-4.

The regiment stood down 1978, and converted to the RT-2P missile - alert duty from 1979.

Disbanded 1990.
