Activated 3.64 in Yoshkar-Ola, Mariyskaya ASSR, under the 14th Missile Division.
The regiment controlled the BSP-21 site with 2 R-16 pads (alert duty from 8.7.63).
In 1968 the BSP-21 site was transferred to the 675th Missile Regiment.
The regiment went on alert duty 15.3.72 with 10 RT-2 (SS-13) silos in area BRK-6.
The regiment stood down 1980, and converted to the RT-2P missile - alert duty from 29.9.81.
Disbanded 1994.
