In April 1944 I./KAR.2 was renamed Korps-Artillerie-Abteilung des XI. Fliegerkorps. A new I./KAR.2 formed in May 1944 from the I./Korps-Artillerie-Regiment 1 der Luftwaffe.

Renamed Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 12 in 6.44, and Fallschirm-Artillerie-Regiment 121 on 28.3.45.

8.2.45 re-organised: Stab became Stab/FAR.2 and II./FAR.12 became II./FAR.2. New Stab from Stab/FAR.3, I. from III./FAR.3
II. from II./FAR.11.

From 13.3.45 attached to 8. Fallschirm-Jäger-Division at Wesel. The III./FAR.12 became III./FAR.9 on 17.3.45.
