Transport-Combat Helicopter Regiment - 4 squadrons (2 with Mi-4/8 and 2 with Mi-6).

The two Mi-4 squadrons was in Czechoslovakia, 21.8.68 - 30.10.68.

3.80 to 3.81 and 3.85 to 3.86 - selected crews operated as the 3rd squadron/50th independent Mixed Aviation Regiment in Afghanistan.

In 1986 parts of the unit was stationed in Chernigov, Chernigov Oblast, during the clean-up efforts at Chernobyl.

1.1.92 taken over by Ukraine.
