The regiment controlled site BSP-21 with 2 R-16 pads.
In 1969 the BSP-21 site was transferred to the 811th Missile Regiment.
The regiment began conversion to the UR-100 (SS-11) missile in 1969, and went on alert duty 17.12.69 in area BRK-6 with 10 silos.
The regiment stood down in 1976, and began conversion to the UR-100K missile - alert duty from 1976.
Disbanded 31.3.91.
