the 627th Missile Regiment, under the
Baikonur Test Center (5th NIIP).
The units main tasks were missile/complex tests with the R-16U
(SS-7) and the R-36 (SS-9) ICBMs.
From 31.5.62 attached to the 2nd Test
Department.
Disbanded 1968.
