• 000 Escort Regiment (Sosva, Sverdlovsk Oblast - military unit: 6606)
• 328th Training Regiment (Sverdlovsk, Sverdlovsk Oblast - military unit: 7492)
• 4th independent Special Motorised Militia Battalion (Ufa, Bashkirskaya ASSR - military unit: 5424)

In 1971 the 599th Escort Regiment was activated in Nizhniy Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast.

In 1977 the 000 Escort Regiment (Sosva, Sverdlovsk Oblast) was renamed 39th Escort Brigade.

In 1979 the 000 Escort Regiment (Tyumen, Tyumen Oblast) became independent and was renamed 61st independent Escort Brigade.

14.10.80 renamed Administration VV MVD SSSR for the Urals.

From 1980 the 84st and 101st Escort Divisions and the 61st independent Escort Brigade was attached to the Administration.

In 1981 the 527th Escort Regiment were renamed 68th Escort Brigade.

In 1982 the following units were transferred to the new 152nd Escort Division:

• 39th Escort Brigade
• 525th Escort Regiment
• 598th Escort Regiment
• 328th Training Regiment
• 5th independent Special Motorised Militia Battalion

In 1986 the 68th Escort Brigade was transferred to the new 78th Escort Division.
