1.10.89 the 115th Guards Motorised Rifle Regiment was disbanded, and was replaced by the 298th Machine-Gun Artillery Regiment (activated from the 11th Fortified Area, Dosatuy, from 1.9.06 Borzya).

In 6.90 the 1156th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment was replaced by the 347th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment (with SA-6).

21.6.93 the 77th independent Missile Battalion was disbanded.
