Formed 26.8.39 in Berlin from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 32 with 5 Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 323.

4./Res.323 and 5./321 exchanged designations in 1940.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in late 1942:

1./gem.323 became 1./537, and was reformed
5./gem.323 became 4./921, and was reformed
6./s.323 new
7./s.323 new (RAD)

In late 1943:

5./s.323 became 2./432, and was reformed from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 10250 (RAD)
6./s.323 became 3./432, and was reformed from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 10251

8. - 10./s.323 was formed in 10.44:

8./s.323 from s.Flak-Bttr.zbV 5585
9./s.323 from 2./674 or 2./513 (both listed in Feldpostübersicht)
10./s.323 from 2./565 or 4./513 (both listed in Feldpostübersicht)
