Formed 26.8.39 in Düsseldorf from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 64, with 1. - 5. Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 641.
In 1941 4./Res.641 became 2./834 and was reformed from 4./361; 5./Res.641 became 3./834 and was reformed from 4./234.
Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in 1942:
4./Res.641 became 1./824, and was reformed
5./Res.641 became 1./756In late 1942 2./s.641 became 4./427, and was reformed.
Reorganised as a gemischte Abteilung in mid-43, when two new leichte Batterien was formed:
