1.12.71 the 9th Repair Battalion was activated in Eggesin from the 9th Artillery Repair Shop, the 9th Vehicle Repair Shop and the 9th Tank Reoair Shop - 29.6.76 moved to Torgelow (Drögeheide).

In 1973 the 9th Multiple Rocket Launcher Battalion was activated.

In 1974 the 9th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Battalion was renamed 9th Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment.
