Activated 2.60 in Svetlovodsk, Kirovograd Oblast, from the 276th
Anti-Aircraft Artillery Regiment.
Initially with 4 S-75 (SA-2) battalions.
All four battalions were transferred to Cuba 8.62, and were
replaced by two new S-75 battalions, partly from the 483rd
Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
3 S-125 (SA-3) mobilisation battalions were activated in 1972.
