although the regiment staff remained at Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk Oblast.
4.63 took over three S-75 (SA-2) battalions from the
858th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
Six S-125 (SA-3) battalions (including 2 mobilisation) were activated in 1967.
22.5.68 renamed 208th Guards Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade.
