Activated 1956 in Tukums, Latvian SSR, as the 19th
Radio-Technical Regiment.
1975 united with the 13th Radio-Technical
Regiment (Kaunas), and renamed 80th Radio-Technical Brigade.
The radio-technical company based at Lone, Latvian SSR, was
disbanded in 1980.
The radio-technical companies based at Panevezhis and Utena
(Lithuanian SSR) were detached to the 81st Radio-Technical Brigade in 1986.
