Activated 1974 in Chernobyl, Kiev Oblast.

Consists of one 5N77 Duga-2 (NATO: Steel Yard) OTH radar (receiver and transmitter).

Construction began 3.72 - accepted for field testing in 1976 - official tests were completed in 1978 - experimental alert duty from 1979 - taken off duty 26.4.86 after the nuclear accident at Chernobyl - the receiver complex was contanimated - abandoned.
