Organisation 1960:
In 8.68 the 15th Guards Tank Division
and the 30th Guards Motorised Rifle Division
took part in the invasion of Czechoslovakia, and became part of the
Central Group of Forces - as replacements two
mobilisation divisions were activated in 10.68: 76th
Tank Division (mobilisation) and 84th Motorised
Rifle Division (mobilisation).
Organisation 1970:
15.1.74 awarded the Red Banner.
In 8.79 the 84th Motorised Rifle Division
(mobilisation) was transferred to the 7th Tank Army, to
make room for the 6th Guards Tank Division, which
would arrive from Germany in 3.80.
