Activated 1966 in Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the 60th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 1967 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-7.

The regiment stood down 1981, and began conversion to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 20.6.82.

The regiment stood down 2009, and began conversion to the RT-2PM2 Topol-M2 (SS-27) missile - alert duty from 2010 with 2 silos, and from 2012 with 10 silos.
