Activated 31.3.64 in Nizhniy Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast, from the 94th independent Missile Battalion, under the 42nd Missile Division.
The regiment controlled site BSP-22 with 3 R-16 (SS-7) silos - alert duty from 5.2.64.
In 1975 the regiment took over site BSP-23 from the 146th Guards Missile Regiment:
The regiment stood down in 1977.
The regiment went on alert duty 3.11.78 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-K (15P645K) (SS-20) missiles.
The regiment stood down 1985, and began conversion to the RT-2PM Topol (15P158) (SS-25) missile - alert duty from 27.4.87.
The regiment stood down 2012, and 2013 transferred to the new mobile base being built over the old Verkhnyaya Salda Mobile IRBM/ICBM Base 2, and began converting to the 9P155M (RS-24 Yars) missile - alert duty 2014 with 9 missiles.
