Activated 3.64 in Drovyanaya, Chitinskaya Oblast, under the 4th Missile Division.
The regiment controlled site BSP-11 with 3 R-16U silos - alert duty from 5.1.65.
1.12.66 took over BSP-13 with two R-16 pads.
1968 with:
15.10.76 the three silos and two pads went off alert duty.
The regiment went on alert duty 20.11.76 with 6 RSD-10 Pioner (15P645) (SS-20) missiles - as the 2nd regiment in the RVSN.
The regiment stood down in 1979, and converted to the RSD-10 Pioner-K (15P645K) missile - alert duty from 21.8.79 with 9 missiles.
During April 1984 conducted two tests with the S-300 (SA-10) air defence system - first with one RSD-10 launch, and the second with a volley of seven RSD-10 launches.
The regiment stood down in 21.8.89, and was disbanded 30.12.89.
US designation 1964-1976: Drovyanaya ICBM complex (Launch site E, later launch site 5). Type IIIA silos.
