Organisation:
The battalions stood down in 1980, and the regiment was transferred to Barnaul, Altaiskiy Kray 6.9.81, still attached to the 35th Missile Division.
The regiment went on alert duty 18.1.83 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-UTTKh (15P653) (SS-20) missiles.
The regiment stood down in 4.90, and began conversion to the RT-2PM (15P158) (SS-25) missile - alert duty from 30.12.91 with 9 missiles.
US designation 1960-1980: Maykop MRBM complex (Kurdzhipskaya and Shirvanskaya launch sites). Type II (pad) and IV (silo) sites.

Two alternative fixed field sites for the pad launchers, were set up at Tulskaya (44 81 38N, 40 14 08E) and Maikop (44 33 15N, 39 57 51E), with the Maikop site still active by 1967.
