Activated 12.60 at Korosten, Zhitomir Oblast, under 80th Missile Brigade, and from 5.61 the 50th Missile Division.
Organisation:
The battalions stood down in 1984.
The regiment went on alert duty 1985 with 9 RSD-10 Pioner-K (15P645K) (SS-20) missiles (missiles from Yurya or Nizhniy Tagil).
The regiment stood down in 1990, and was disbanded 10.90.
US designation: Korosten MRBM complex (Korosten launch sites 1 and 2). Type II (pad) sites.

Four alternative fixed field sites for the pad launchers, were set up at Litki (site 1: 51 01 27N, 28 27 55E and site 2: 51 01 36N, 28 24 01E) and Yemilchino (site 1: 50 52 29N, 27 53 32E and site 2: 50 52 08N, 27 53 10E). All but Litki 1 appeared to be inactive by 1967.
