Activated 6.12.65 in Drovyanaya, Chitinskaya Oblast, under the 4th Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 20.1.67 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-3.

The regiment stood down 14.3.74 and converted to the UR-100K - alert duty from 5.7.74.

From 25.10.91 continued on alert duty, but with the warheads now removed from the missiles.

The regiment stood down 1.6.94, and from 14.4.95 converted to the RT-2PM (15P158) (SS-25) missile (missiles from the 403rd Guards Missile Regiment) - alert duty from 26.12.95 with 9 missiles.

The regiment stood down 12.9.02, and was disbanded 1.12.2002.
