Activated 6.64 at Vypolzovo, Tver Oblast, from the 2nd Battalion of the 45th Missile Regiment - under the 7th Guards Missile Division.

The regiment controlled site BSP-3 with 2 R-16 (SS-7) pads.

In 1969 the regiment stood down, and the BSP-3 site was transferred to the 45th Missile Regiment.

The regiment went on alert duty 5.11.69 in area BRK-9, with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos.

Converted to the MR-UR-100 (15P015) (SS-17) missile in 1977 - alert duty from 17.9.77 with 10 silos.

The regiment stood down 1990, and was disbanded 30.10.90.
