Activated 1966 at Vypolzovo, Tver Oblast, under the 7th Guards Missile Division.

The regiment went on alert duty 11.6.68 in area BRK-3, with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos.

Converted to the MR-UR-100 (15P015) (SS-17) missile in 1974/75 - alert duty from 6.5.75 with 10 silos.

The regiment stood down 1989, and was disbanded 1.12.89.
