The regiment went on alert duty 15.11.66 with 6 R-36 (8K67) (SS-9) silos in area BRK-2.

The regiment stood down in 1976, and converted to the R-36M (15A14) (SS-18) - alert duty from 9.76.

The regiment stood down 1982, and converted to the R-36MUTTKh - alert duty from 1982.

Disbanded 1993.
