Activated 1.12.61 in Lapichi, Mogilev Oblast, under the 33rd Guards Missile Division.
Inactive during the period 1961 to 1964.
1964 transferred to Tatischevo, Saratov Oblast, under the 60th Missile Division.
The regiment went on alert duty 17.12.66 with 10 UR-100 (SS-11) silos in area BRK-5.
The regiment stood down 1975, and began conversion to the UR-100N (SS-19) missile - alert duty from 9.77.
Converted to the UR-100NU (SS-19) missile in 1984.
The regiment stood down 1996, and began conversion to the RT-2PM2 Topol-M2 (SS-27) missile - alert duty from 24.12.97 with the first two silos, and 27.12.98 with all 10 silos.
Honoured with the name "Saratovskiy" in 1999.
