Activated 1960 in Polyarnyy, Murmansk Oblast, as the 803rd
Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
Intially with 4 S-75 (SA-2) battalions.
1967 took over two S-125 (SA-3) battalions from the 000
Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment, while four new S-125 battalions were activated.

854th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
The two S-200 (SA-5) battalions were deactivated in 1997.
5.98 united with the 531st Guards
Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment, and renamed 531st Guards Nevelsko-Berlinskiy
order of Lenin Red Banner orders of Suvorov, Kutuzov and Bogdan Khmelnitskiy
Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
2009 with 5 S-300PM (SA-20) battalions.
