Disbanded 15.3.93 - the border forces in Armenia, came under the joint Russian/Armenian Troop Group of Border Forces Armenia.

The Border District was replaced by the North Caucasian Border District in Stavropol, and the Western Group of Border Forces Russia in Voronezh.
