4.2.65 renamed 30th Guards Motorised Rifle Division.

In 1968 the 63rd independent Guards Sapper Battalion was renamed 63rd independent Guards Engineer-Sapper Battalion, while the 205th independent Anti-Tank Artillery Battalion was activated.

14.6.68 the 62nd independent Tank Battalion was transferred to Ulan-Ude, Buryatskaya ASSR, for the formation of the new 41st Motorised Rifle Division - replaced by the new 75th independent Tank Battalion.

21.2.78 awarded the order of the October Revolution.

In 1980 the 397th independent Motor Transport Battalion was renamed 1054th independent Material Supply Battalion, and the 140th independent Reactive Artillery Battery was absorbed by the Artillery Regiment.

In 9.87 the 404th independent Missile Battalion was transferred to the 442nd Missile Brigade.

In 8.90 the 144th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment was replaced by the 823rd Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment.
