In 1990 the 131st Training Helicopter Regiment joined the school from the Saratov Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots.

In 12.90 the 851st Training Helicopter Regiment was transferred to the Ufa Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots.

1998 renamed Syzran Military Aviation Institute.
