schwere Flak-Abteilung 443 (o)

Formed 26.8.39 in Essen from parts of I./Flak-Regiment 44, with 1. - 5. Batterien (1. - 3. schwere, 4. - 5. leichte). Until 7.42 known as Res.Flak-Abt. 443.

Reorganised as a schwere Abteilung in late 1942:

4./gem.443 became 4./989, and was reformed (RAD)
5./gem.443 became 4./747

5. - 7./s.443 was formed in mid-1943 (5. new, 6. from 3./143, 7. new); 1./s.443 became 3./550, and was reformed.

In 9.44 3./s.443 became mot., and moved to the western front.

In 12.44 3./s.443 became 3./Flak-Regiment 39, and was reformed from 5./466.
