Formed 26.8.39 in Köln from parts of II./Flak-Regiment 14, with 1. - 5. Batterien (1. - 3. schwere and 4. - 5. leichte). Known as Reserve-Flak-Abteilung 144 until 8.41, and then Flak-Abteilung 144 (Fähre).
Reorganised as a leichte Flak-Abteilung (Fähre) in 4.43:
