Formed 1936 in Plauen as Fliegerübungsstelle Plauen, from 1.4.38 as FFS E (A/B) Plauen and from 2.10.39 as FFS A/B Plauen.

On 16.1.40 redesignated Flugzeugführerschule A/B 7 (FFS A/B 7), under Höh.Fl.Ausb.Kdo. 4.

On 30.6.43 united with FFS A/B 10, which became a Doppelschule.

Reformed 19.7.44 in Schweinfurt as Flugzeugführerschule A 7, from FFS B 1. Training ended 1.45.

2.45 under 1. Fliegerschul-Division. Disbanded 15.3.45.
